Pictures and Sleep

Today Michelle and I took Landon to a local lady who takes pictures of newborns. Her name is Rebecca White and her website is capturethemagic.org. She did a really good job. She had tons of patience and was able to position him in many different poses. She has already posted 2 of them on Facebook and I Michelle and I are tagged in them. SLEEP....Landon is finally figuring out his days and nights......we think. He has had a few good nights where he is waking every 3 hours and not screaming in between. I hope that this continues tonight.

Long Night

This picture was taking at the hospital, but it is a great way to describe what I'm about to talk about.

So last night was the worst night yet, but I know that it is going to get better. We fed Landon at 10:30 and he was out by 11. As his usual he is up and screaming at midnight. We usually get him back down by 2:30 AM, but last night it lasted till 4:00 AM. We are wondering if it might be colic or not. The good thing is that he doesn't scream the whole time. He will almost be asleep (like eyes closed and still for 2 minutes) then here we go again, sad face, knees in chest, arms flopping, and the scream coming. Needless to say it was a Long Night last night. The good thing is that we didn't have to work today, so we got to sleep in.

We have tried many different things to calm him down, and some of them work, but for a short period. We are going to try the vacuum cleaner tonight.

I might have to start washing his hair every night. I know that he likes that and it seems to make him calm.

I'm sure that we have many more of these nights to come, but I do know that it will end one day.

Bath Time

He enjoys having his hair washed, but doesn't liked to be bathed.

Landon was born May 17th, 2011 at 2:20 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces, and was 18 3/4" long. He is our little miracle from God.
